Building Global Bridges,
One Organisation at a Time
Our mission is to provide thoughtful, considered guidance that helps Hong Kong businesses navigate the complexities of international growth.
Back to HomeOur Story
Latitude Consulting was established in Hong Kong with a clear purpose: to help local organisations successfully expand their reach beyond familiar borders. Our founders recognised that while Hong Kong businesses possess remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and operational excellence, many face genuine challenges when navigating unfamiliar international markets.
We chose our name deliberately. Just as lines of latitude encircle the globe, connecting diverse regions and climates, we see our role as helping organisations make meaningful connections across geographic and cultural boundaries. Our approach values understanding over assumptions, and practical guidance over generic frameworks.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with organisations across various sectors, from manufacturing and logistics to professional services and technology. Each engagement has deepened our appreciation for the nuances involved in cross-border business, and reinforced our commitment to providing counsel that respects both global best practices and local realities.

Our Expertise in Global Business
International business presents organisations with both considerable opportunities and genuine complexities. At Latitude Consulting, we have developed deep expertise in helping Hong Kong-based organisations navigate these waters thoughtfully. Our consultants understand the distinctive position Hong Kong occupies as a gateway between East and West, and we leverage this understanding in our advisory work.
Cross-cultural competence stands at the heart of successful international operations. Whether you're establishing partnerships in new markets, managing teams across different regions, or integrating acquired businesses, cultural factors significantly influence outcomes. We help organisations develop the awareness and capabilities needed to work effectively across boundaries, moving beyond surface-level cultural observations to address the deeper patterns that shape business behaviour.
Global operations require balancing competing priorities: standardisation versus local adaptation, central control versus regional autonomy, efficiency versus resilience. We help organisations find appropriate balances for their specific circumstances, recognising that optimal configurations vary by industry, strategy, and organisational maturity. Our practical recommendations consider implementation realities, not just theoretical ideals.
The Asia-Pacific region continues to present compelling growth opportunities for organisations willing to invest in understanding its diverse markets. From developed economies like Japan and Australia to rapidly evolving markets across Southeast Asia, each destination requires thoughtful consideration of entry modes, partner selection, regulatory requirements, and competitive dynamics. We bring regional knowledge and analytical rigour to these important decisions.
